Timeline

January

  • Choose speakers, small group leaders, and outreach coordinators from your club
  • Decide on the type of evangelistic effort your club will be sponsoring this year
  • Finalize the date and venue of your small group evangelism, mission trip and/or reaping campaign.
  • Meet with other AMP club ministry leaders to avoid conflicts in schedule.
  • Submit evangelism plans and budget to your church board. Your pastor, in turn, will submit your church’s evangelism budget proposal to the conference’s Church Growth and Evangelism Department.
  • Each designated small group evangelism speaker will have to register with Share Him Ministry to receive free evangelism resources (i.e., Way of Hope sermons with complete set of presentations, ShareSync etc.)
  • Arrange with the homes where you plan to hold your small group Bible studies
  • Conduct special prayer meetings.  Kindly pray for AMP speakers, small group facilitators and all involved in AMP Year of Evangelism.
  • Start promoting your small group meetings via social media; send invitations to friends and relatives.
  • Teach outreach‐oriented Adventurer awards and Pathfinder honours to club members with emphasis on the practical application. Introduce also the Adventurer and Pathfinder Evangelism special awards.
  • Promote your small group home fellowship to friends, relatives, classmates, co‐workers, and neighbours.

February

  • Each designated small group evangelism speaker will have to register with Share Him Ministry to receive free evangelism resources (i.e., Way of Hope sermons with complete set of presentations, ShareSync etc.)
  • Speakers to continue studying their sermons and the use of ShareSync presentations.
  • Submit to the Ontario Conference the AMP Speaker/Event registration form no later than Feb 28.

March-May

  • 1st Wave of Local Evangelism – Small Group Home Fellowship (Date to be determined by individual clubs/churches)
  • Global Youth Day/ Compassion Day
  • Internet Evangelism

June

  • 1st Wave of Baptisms
  • Social event for Bible interests and friends (to be planned by local church/club or district)

July

  • iPray Initiative by all clubs
  • Pathfinder Parade and Fair
  • 2nd wave of Evangelism – Cross‐culture/Mission Trips within Ontario – i.e., Native Ministries, Adopt‐a‐Church, etc.

August

  • 2nd Wave of Evangelism – Cross‐culture/Mission Trips (Continuation)
  • Camporee

 

September-November

  • iPray Initiative by all clubs
  • 3rd Wave of Local Evangelism – Reaping Campaign (Date to be determined by individual clubs/churches or districts)
  • Internet Evangelism
  • Anti‐Drug/Violence Parade /Health Expo (All clubs)
  • Share Him Evangelistic Series
  • 2nd Wave of Baptisms

December

  • Praise celebration by churches or districts
  • Discipleship program for newly baptised members.
